B.o.B. Surprise In-Flight Performance of “Airplanes”

While on route to LAX, Grammy nominated B.O.B took over the sound system and gave passengers a special treat and performed his hit single “Airplanes”.

Delta is the official Airline of the Grammy’s, which will take place next Sunday at the Staples Center, and this was a great scoop for them.This is the second time they got an artist to perform mid air. Let’s not forget that Kanye West also gave an impromptu mini concert on a Delta flight to New York back in November.

Maybe Delta should consider having in flight performances all the time. I’ll take a snippet of “Can I Live” by the Jigga man himself over Despicable Me anytime.

Grammy Nominations Announced: Kendrick Lamar Leads With 11 Nods

This morning, the nominees for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards have been announced. Kendrick Lamar is nominated 11 times in nine categories. Right behind him is The Weeknd whose up for seven Grammys, Drake with five, Alabama Shakes and Florence and the Machine are up for four, and Kanye West, D'Angelo, and Diplo are up for three. New Music: B.o.B. – “Roll Up”

B.o.B. is sharing a loosie (pun intended) on this beautiful Wednesday evening, and although his home state of Ohio isn't entirely down with the legalization of marijuana, that isn't stopping ol' Bobby Ray from sparking up. The latest track from B.o.B. is "Roll Up", which--like its title suggests--is about the little substance we call marijuana (or loud, if you're hip to the lingo). Here are some sample lyrics from the track to read along while you decompress from your busy workday: "Sometimes I get high to free my mind/ Is that alright? right right right". B.o.B Shares Latest Project Psycadelik Thoughtz

Not sure if anyone reading this is looking out for B.o.B anymore but he's just released a new project -- a mixtape -- entitled Psycadelik Thoughtz. PT (because I vehemently refuse to repeat that album title again) is B.o.B's first full-length project since January's uneven No Genre: The Label mixtape. Here B.o.B offers up eleven new tracks (including the previously released single "Back & Forth") with approximately two guest spots -- neither of which pertain to hip hop, exactly. If you're one of those people still checking in for some new Bobby Ray then this latest project, PT, is right for you. Check it out after the jump. It's also currently available on iTunes.

New Music: YG – “2015 Flow” (Prod. DJ Mustard)

Looks like YG got the memo his debut album My Krazy Life isn't receiving a Grammy nod. In fact, a lot of heavily favored hip-hop albums were snubbed from the 2015 Grammys. Instead of rewarding artistically inclined albums like Freddie Gibbs & Madlib's Piñata or even Rick Ross' commercially successful Hood Billionaire, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS) saw Iggy Azalea's The New Classic better fit for some (more) recognition. Well, Compton's YG, being the gangsta that he is, ain't just gonna sit around and take it on the chin, as he unleashes "2015 Flow," which targets said award show.
