Cannibal Ox is set to drop their highly anticipated followup to 2001’s The Cold Vein in 2015!

It’s been a long time coming but Cannibal Ox (Vast Aire and Vordul Mega) are finally ready to share Blade of the Ronin, the highly anticipated followup to their seminal 2001 album The Cold Vein. That’s the album art above.
Fourteen years in the making, Cannibal Ox has kept busy recording and prepping the release of Blade of the Ronin and looks like it’s finally getting a proper release date. Blade of the Ronin is set to drop March 3rd. The album features 19 total tracks with features from Artifacts, U-God (of Wu-Tang Clan), Elzhi, and MF Doom to name a few. According to HipHopDX Bill Cosmiq has produced a large portion of the album and will also make a few appearances throughout Blade of the Ronin.
