2020 has been a prolific year for San Antonio’s own, Cap Gold. The gold-grilled artist has been flooding the internet with singles and videos, proving that his hustle is commensurate with his talent. Today, he returns with the official video for his recently-released single, “Ride Out.”

Directed by Jeff Adair, the “Ride Out” visual materializes the song’s “by any means necessary” mentality by showing Cap driving straight into the face of danger to protect himself and those he cares for. After receiving an ominous call, Cap Gold abandons all fears, and takes off in the exclusive Tesla Cybertruck to assess the situation head-on. White-knuckling the steering wheel with a pensive facial expression, the “Ride Out” video shows how Cap never shies away from a challenge — he embraces them.

Producers King3third and Nashi manifest these emotions through a somber instrumental that juxtaposes hard-hitting drums with sentimental piano keys, astutely capturing the song’s emotional dichotomy. The two structure this dynamic beat around a sample from Rod Wave’s standout single, “Green Light.”
