The self-produced single is vintage Chance, as it shows the Chicago star effortlessly navigating a gaggle of tongue-twisting rhymes en route to crystalizing his message. With a sparse video and a running lyric tracker, the mind is drawn to the Acid Rap artist’s thought-provoking rhymes. “The Heart & The Tongue” reinforces Chance’s position as one of his generation’s most skilled songwriters.
