Dr. Dre Being Sued For $1.2 Million

So while Dre continues to not drop “Detox”, and instead move into the studio with Justin Bieber, he apparently failed to pay for a large amount of studio time.  Paramount Studios is suing Dre, and Aftermath Entertainment for booking but never paying for studio time.  Court documents show that Dre promised to make good on his bill by July 13th, but has as of today still not squared up.

As a recording engineer I’ll tell you that $1.2 million is a hell of a lot of studio time, Dre had better hope that “Detox” is fire because that track he leaked with Jay-Z was whack.  This is also assuming that album ever drops, which I wouldn’t hold my breathe for.  Spotted at HHDX.
