The OVO duo is back.
Canadain R&B duo dvsn, comprised of Nineteen85 and Daniel Daley, has been quiet as of late, with their most recent release coming from the 2017-released Morning After album. Nearly two-years later, the OVO-signed twosome has broken their silence with a two-single offering: “In Between” and the aptly-titled “Miss Me?”
On the former, the two don their slow jams hat as their laidback stylings are on full display. As is the case with most down-tempo R&B tracks, “In Between” is a love song, proclamation that nothing will separate the romantic partners in question.
Providing a healthy taste of their range, dvsn cranks up the BPMs on “Miss Me?” while still remaining true to their alternative R&B core, adhering to more of a trapsoul vibe. And while they’re asking a girl if she misses them, the track’s title dualistically solicits fans with the pressing question: have you missed dvsn?
