As previously reported, newly found evidence has linked former LAPD officer David Mack to the death of beloved NY rapper, The Notorious B.I.G. It’s been fourteen years since the murder of Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace, but his family and fans may finally know the truth behind his mysterious murder.

The New York Daily News reports that recently released FBI documents directly implicate Mack in the 1997 shootings.  According to a cold case file released under the Freedom of Information Act, the bullets found in Wallace’s body are a rare form of ammunition known as 9mm Geckos, sold exclusively to two distributors in the U.S.  The same bullets were later found at Mack’s home “along with a ‘shrine’ to Tupac Shakur – when Mack was busted for bank robbery shortly after Wallace’s death.”  The report states that the bullets found in Mack’s house were never compared to the ones found in Biggie’s body.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but all evidence points to Mack having some involvement in Big’s death, and he seems extra sketchy given that he has ties to Death Row.  Unfortunately, the case has yet to be re-opened.  Oddly enough, the FBI paperwork used to identify the bullets used to murder Biggie also state that he had connections to the Genovese crime family.
