Ja Rule had already ended the year badly when he pleaded guilty to attempted gun possession which stemmed from a July 2007 arrest. His prison sentencing had been delayed earlier this month in order to give Ja Rule more time to get himself together financially. In that time, it had been discovered that Ja Rule was committing another crime: tax evasion.

Yesterday (March 22 2011), Ja Rule had pleaded guilty to tax evasion in Newark, NJ. He came clean about his failure to pay taxes on more than four million dollars in income. Ja Rule is now facing an additional three years to his sentence due to his tax evasion charges and also $100,000 in fines on each count.

Ja Rule will not be heading to prison until June, however this is causing a lot of talk on Twitter.

50 Cent had tweeted this morning: “Damn you don’t want to pay taxes fool. Take 3 more years hahaha. Oh sh*t I’m crying LMAO.” Then 50 Cent retweeted a post of YouCantBeSerious: “Lol RT @YouCantBSerious: Ja Rule pleads guilty to tax evasion aww this is the biggest headline for Ja since @50cent destroyed his career.

This is only the start to another session of Twitter beef. Ja Rule recently responded to the tweets less than ten minutes ago:

I’m gonna just bomb on this nigga @50cent and dare his bitch ass to tweet back get your popcorn lmao…

He got 3 mil followers and his last album barely went gold gtfoh @50cent

Sounds like the beginning of an interesting and entertaining Twitter beef session. Until June, we’ll be hearing Ja Rule quote Charlie Sheen and quarrel with 50. However the moral of the story is pay your taxes.
