Jay-Z is known as a hardcore supporter of New York in general, he`s from Marcy Projects in Brooklyn but it might just be possible that he is too big for the New York Yankees, Music producer David Brody, of Elvis Duran and The Morning Show on Z100 (100.3 FM) in NYC, created a parody of Jay-Z’s Run This Town.

His version is Yankees Run This Town and it’s become quite a hit on the radio with Yankee fans.

That’s when Brody decided it would be great for Jay-Z to perform the modified song for all the Yankee lovers.

Brody stated, “It would be the highlight of my parody career.”

But what can you expect from Jay-Z, the man is obviously busy, so he passed.

So Brody took to his Twitter and commented that “Jay Z just turned me down … damn!” Damn Jigga Say it aint so!!
