Following the release of his forthcoming album’s lead single, “Slow Dancing In The Dark”, Joji has returned with BALLADS 1’s next track, “Test Drive”.
Released from his 88rising camp, home to Rich Brian, Keith Ape, and more, “Test Drive”, in classic Joji form, comes with an accompanying eccentric visual that follows Joji’s now predictable path: one that is completely unpredictable.
From swinging by a chain while being confined in a straight jacket to driving a motorcycle while wearing a wedding dress, the “Test Drive” video exudes oddities–the very same oddities that have made Joji such an enamoring artist. He’s unafraid to take creative risks; it’s this intrepid attitude that has made Joji’s music and overall artistic aesthetic the nontraditional gorgeous blunder that it is today.
With only one project out under his belt, the 2017-released In Tongues EP, fans are curious what Joji will do on BALLADS 1–his official debut album.
