It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from 88rising’s emotional polymath, Joji. The lofi R&B singer erupted on the scene with his standout 2017 EP, In Tongues, followed by his acclaimed 2018 debut album, BALLADS1. But, having only released one single since (“Sanctuary”), Joji’s somewhat faded with this lacking output. Today, Joji changes the record by dropping a new song and video, “Run.”
