Cudi honors the fallen legends. RIP, Nip and Mac.

The flower crowns were on full display this past weekend in celebration of Coachella — the prime location for seeing an assortment of the industry’s best talent. One of those talents, Kid Cudi, delivered a memorable performance on the heels of his resurgent 2018, dedicating his show to the late Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller.

Dipping into his bag of classics, Cudi specifically dedicated the late 2000s hit “Pursuit of Happiness” to the two fallen soldiers — perhaps one of his most iconic tracks in a storied catalogue.

Speaking to his fans, Cudi remarked, “This next one. I wanna dedicate this to Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle … And I want y’all to sing this shit as loud as you can. Promise me. Can I get a yeah?” And sing as loud as they can they did.

The Man On The Moon’s set included a mix of songs old and news, including verses from his collaborative 2018 project with Kanye, Kids See Ghosts.
