Arriving January 17th.
It’s been almost 18-months since Mac Miller’s tragic passing. Leaving behind an incredible legacy to be mourned by his loved ones and adoring fans, Mac’s departure has left a palpable void in the hearts of many. But prior to his passing, Mac had made great progress on his next album, Circles — a companion piece to his Grammy-nominated Swimming. Today, his camp released a statement announcing its release and further context on the project.
Posted to his instagram, Mac’s family stated that Circles will be a dualistic offering, using the shape as a metaphor to show how two different styles complement each other to create stylistically closed loop. Prior to his death, Mac was working with Jon Brion on the album, who’s dedicated himself to finishing the album according to Mac’s vision.
Circles will be released on January 17th.
