Earlier this year, D-Block member Sheek Louch managed to land a deal with Def Jam.  Since then the Yonkers rapper has let everyone know that he isn’t going anywhere by dropping track after track and releasing his latest Green Lantern hosted mixtape, Donnie Def Jam: Guerilla Warfare Vol. 1.  While Sheek isn’t my favorite rapper in the world, he’s damn sure consistent and proves that he hasn’t lost a step on this one.

The bassline on The Black Keys produced “Silverback Mack” featuring Beanie Sigel is straight fire.  In all seriousness though, how many times can someone make a record called “this is Hip Hop”? Joell jumps on this track, which is basically an alternate version to his 2007 single.  Either way this is one of Donnie Def Jam’s best tracks.  Of course, fellow LOX/D-Block members Jadakiss, Styles P, hop on Donnie Def Jam to make it official.  I have a feeling a lot of people are going to love “Cocaine Trafficking,” which completely negates Sheek’s portrayal of himself on “Not A Drug Dealer.”
