Does Mustard have another number one hit on his hands?

Mustard has an uncanny ability to make a hit record — there’s no denying that, his record speaks for itself. From Tyga’s 2011 “Rack City” to Big Sean’s “I Don’t Fuck With You,” Mustard has accrued a respectable amount of number one tracks. By tailoring his progressive production style to the respective lead artist, Mustard recruits a person’s best self. Today, Mustard continues that hit track record voyage by tapping YG, 21 Savage, Quavo, and Meek Mill for “100 Bands.”

Unsurprisingly, “100 Bands” is a banger. With Mustard providing a hyphy beat, all the featured artists hone their most upbeat selves, giving “100 Bands” a palpable energy that will certainly see it be the next club record — and all of this is only from a 30-second snippet. (The full track is exclusively available in international markets, with the full version coming to North America at midnight.)

Creating even more buzz surrounding the track than the names involved, Mustard teased “100 Bands” by releasing a YouTube promo.

Showing Mustard walking away from a car wreck in an apocalyptic setting, he fortuitously discovers a mysterious box housing one of the wettest chains you’ve seen. Upon throwing it around his neck, the beginning of the song plays — cutting out late enough to give us a satiable taste but gone too early to full digest.
