A prime stoner soundtrack.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, not Christmas — we’re, of course, speaking about the holiday for stoners, 4/20. Given the current coronavirus-infected climated, coupled with the fact that this will be the last time for 100-years that we can note today as 4/20/20, it’s no ordinary day for the weed celebration; the people need this 4/20 particularly badly.
Unsurprisingly, the defacto stoner rapper himself, Wiz Khalifa, has come through with a new project to commemorate the holidaze, The Saga Of Wiz Khalifa.
Coming in a tight seven-tracks, the EP features a couple of singles — “Contact” featuring Tyga and “Bammer” featuring Mustard — in addition to its five new songs. With “Still Wiz” being the only featureless effort, each track has an assist from a diverse artist collection: Logic, Megan Thee Stallion, Ty Dolla $ign, K CAMP, and Quavo join Wiz on this project.
Difficult times plus the internationally-recognized weed holiday makes The Saga Of Wiz Khalifa a prime soundtrack for this year’s holiday.
