Uhhh, what? You’re as confused as I am. Apparently Waka Flocka Flame has a song out with Good Charlotte. In case you don’t know who Good Charlotte is, they’re a pop-punk band from the early 2000s. They had songs like “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” go gold in 2002–further revealing my age. They’ve pretty much been on hiatus since 2011 and haven’t recorded a new album since 2010. How do I know this? Because I’ve used my Googles. But for some strange reason they’ve reunited (I guess?) with one of Atlanta’s long forgotten rappers, Waka Flocka (Flockaveli 2 should be out sometime soon, I think. All I know is I still love the first Flockaveli.) Also another baffling thing about this entire scheme here is that it’s for the soundtrack of a movie called Pixels, which stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James (how exciting, right?) that’s due out July 24th. “Game On” just reminds me how far we’ve traveled since Run-D.M.C. and Aerosmith.
