Pardison’s debut album, Underrated, drops this Friday.

While he might be best known for writing hits for some of the biggest stars, Pardison Fontaine pen game isn’t only reserved for others — he’s a skilled rapper himself. Having released such multi-million-streamed tracks as “Backin’ It Up” featuring Cardi B, Pardison has more than cut his teeth thus far. Today, he’s linked with Cardi’s husband, Offset, for “Take It Down.”

Going in over a dynamic piano-accented trap production, the Atlantic Records artist shows that his writing chops match his rapping ability, supplying listeners with rewind-worthy verses and memorable bars. Throughout “Take It Down,” Pardison hops flow-to-flow while maintaining focus to impart a uniform vibe.

Ready to prove to the world once and for all that he’s his own star, “Take It Down” will be featured on Fontaine’s long-awaited, and deserved, debut album, Underrated, set to drop this Friday, November 15th.
