Toronto Raptors PF Chris Bosh fractured his face last night early in the Raptors / Cavs game. About 2 minutes into the game, Bosh was elbowed hard by Cavs PF Antawn Jamison as he attempted to play defense. Bosh collapsed to the court and had blood gushing out of his mouth and nose. Bosh, an All-Star power forward who is believed to be waiting in line to get a maximum contract this off-season, was rushed off the court and brought to a hospital. He returned to the arena during the 4th quarter, after having been treated for a “maxilla and nasal fracture to the right side of his face.” Bosh will not travel with the team in the immediate future, as he will be recovering, leaving the Raptors playoff hopes in jeopardy. See below for a video of the event.
Everyone expected Lil Wayne to catch some flack for outright dissing the star players of the Miami Heat, but no one was expecting Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell to air out Tunechi in his Miami New Times blog.
Last week, Lil Wayne was allegedly ejected from a Miami Heat game while cheering for the Laker's Kobe Byrant. The claim was made via Weezy's Twitter account although a representative for the Heat denied these accusations, claiming that Wayne made the decision to leave the game on his own. Now, Wayne is making headlines for badmouthing the team during an All-Star Weekend event, even going as far as making personal attacks against Chris Bosh and other team members.
