jGerson“The streets most anticipated album,” Flockaveli dropped today and AllHipHop had a chance to catch up with budding rap star, Wacka Flocka Flame, to talk about his debut as well as future collaborations. Several months ago, Wacka told the site that his favorite rapper of all-time was none other than Nas. With his name popping up just about everywhere, the Georgia raised rapper may finally have an opportunity to work with the acclaimed Queensbridge emcee.

It goes without saying that Wacka and Nas completely differ in styles. However the one known as Flame refuses to compromise and change, citing, “People will like you for you. When you change you’re not being you, and then they won’t like you” (editors note: real talk). Wacka also went on to say that if he preserved his style on a collaboration with Nas, it will come off as more authentic. Throughout his career, Nas has worked with several southern rappers including Jermaine Dupree, Birdman, Lil Jon, Cash Money Millionaires, and Young Jeezy, so the collabo isn’t out of the question. As of press time, Nasir had yet to comment. Word is Waka would bring his A-game to the table
