Welcome to the eighth A3C x iHipHop Distribution album.
Each year, Atlanta’s popular A3C festival partners with iHipHop Distribution to present a sea of underground hip-hop talent to the masses, packaged as the annual A3C album. One of the industry’s most accurate talent barometers, the A3C x iHipHop Distribution compilation series consistently breaks artists: Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples, and Danny Brown are just some of the names that have graced previous A3C releases. This year seems to be no exception.
Kicking off A3C Volume 8, San Antonio’s burgeoning Cap Gold makes an impressive introduction by supplying the project’s lead single and video, “HighClass Fever”. A 19-year-old artist, Cap Gold has been frequenting hip-hop’s underground circuit for some time, honing his craft as he makes his case for one of this year’s most promising artists.
Shot on location by Justin Perez, the “HighClass Fever” video shows Cap Gold flexing with his friends as he discusses the tropes that assert his “high class” status.
Consistent with previous releases, A3C Volume 8 will feature approximately 50-tracks from rising artists who are keen on proving why they deserve to be hip-hop’s next up.
With A3C Volume 8’s release date approaching soon, iHipHop Distribution is currently accepting artist submissions. If you would like to be considered for this year’s compilation project, please email submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
