Jay-Z & Beyonce attempted to trademark Blue Ivy Carter’s name recently in order to launch a line of baby products shortly after the birth of their first child in January 2012.

However, the owner of the Blue Ivy Events company based in Boston was forced to defend their name in court. Last week, a judge ruled in favor of the Bostonian company preventing ’03′s Bonnie & Clyde from bringing Blue Ivy Baby Powder to a Babies’R'Us near you. Seriously though, a line of baby products!? Your child is less than a year old and you’re already trying to make money off them? It ain’t always about dollar signs, Hov.
