Busta Rhymes Doesn’t Need A Major Label

Although Busta Rhymes recently told AHH that his album E.L.E. 2 is “90% done”, it has been reported that Busta has no major label at the moment. He has apparently severed all ties with Universal Motown Records and reportedly intends to release his album with his own label; Conglomerate Records.

Speaking with XXL, the Bus man seemed to be pretty upbeat about the whole situation:

“We have Uncle Murda right now, he has a record on Hot 97 and he isn’t signed. Guess what? Busta Rhymes isn’t signed right now either”

Great. So the best example he can come up with is Uncle Murda? I don’t know what happened with the label as of yet, but I do know that Chris Rock is gonna narrate the album, which is due sometime in September and will feature production from DJ Premier and DJ Scratch. Spotted at HHDX.
