By point of reference, Taylor Swift sold just over a million units this week.
And yet veteran indie hip-hop acts like Skillz and Lyrics Born are struggling to break 1k sales first week. Also, Tech N9ne deserves a serious salute. this dude has a serious following. 7,361 units in today’s indie market is a monster first week, for an EP nontheless. He mobilizes his fans incredibly well.
Stay tuned for next week’s updates, and as usual, let me know if there are any albums that you’re interested in finding out sales for.
Til next time… Peace.
