Alicia Keys recently split with her manager of over ten years Jeff Robinson of MBK Entertainment.
Both Keys and Robinson issued a statement explaining that the split was mutual and that they are “changing the structure of their business relationship, allowing Keys to oversee all aspects of her own personal career.”
Days after the split, it’s being reported that her soon to be husband, Swizz Beatz, is now taking the active role of her manager and has been guiding the direction of her career.
She is also six months pregnant with Swizzy’s child and the two are planning to get married this weekend.
Keys has been pretty successful over the past ten years, so we’ll see how things go without Robinson and hopefully it really is Alicia guiding her own career and not any outside influences…Showtime!
