The 20-year-old artist is making waves.

New York-based independent standout Babygrande Records is proud to welcome another addition to their decorated roster in the San Antonio, TX native, Cap Gold. The 20-year-old artist has been bubbling on his hometown circuit for a little while, and is now ready to capitalize on the moment he’s been grinding towards.

The gold-grilled rapper began gaining notoriety last year with his A3C Volume 8 addition, “HighClass Fever,” and the accompanying music video. Most recently, Cap Gold delivered a captivating performance at the 11th annual SXSW Takeover, where he shared the stage with DaBaby, J.I.D., Flipp Dinero, Reason, Lucki, Thutmose, among others.

Commemorating his Babygrande signing, Cap Gold has come through today, July 16th, with his first official label release, “All In.” The new track demonstrates why the Texas upstart captured Babygrande’s attention: he effortlessly distills his eclectic vocal range over the smooth guitar-ladened instrumental. It premiered earlier via HipHopDX.

“All In” is just the beginning for Cap Gold and his new label home — be on the lookout for more releases from him throughout 2019.
