They did it by attaching their brand with other major companies. Beyonce brought in 87 million dollars via sponsors such as Nintendo, General Mills, Crystal Geyser, L’Oréal, Giorgio Armani and Samantha Thavasa handbags. Beyonce also went on an international tour and has also expanded a fashion collection that includes casual and formal lines as well as jewelry and eyeglasses. Meanwhile Brooklyn’s own Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter brought in 35 million dollars home via music, sponsors such as Budwiser and private investments such as his share in the NBA franchise New Jersey Nets.
