A composite of his long-documented love life, Weeknd’s new offering frames him in the light that the title suggests: a heartless individual, jaded by the bite of love and fame. He’s been around, he’s met people, he’s fallen in love, and he’s suffered. Now, he wants to rewrite the narrative by protecting himself by being… “Heartless.”
With production assistance from Metro Boomin, the “Heartless” beat creates this dystopian soundscape perfect for describing the emotions he’s wearing on his sleeve.
