A cut from his Signed with Love project.
Since parting ways with Rich Forever, Jay Critch has regained control of the narrative by releasing music on his own accord — and it’s been a prolific strategy, to say the least. Armed with the liberty that accompanies independence, Critch has opened the musical floodgates, dropping new music consistently throughout the year.
Towards the end of 2020, the Brooklyn native delivered his well-received Signed with Love project, home to 11 featureless tracks. Collectively, this body of work furthers Jay’s narrative of melding Golden Age lyricism with progressive music ideals. One of his standout tracks, “Been That,” has recently received the official music video treatment.
