Power 105.1 Fuels Radio War With Funkmaster Flex Domestic Abuse Allegations

Ever since last week’s Summer Jam fiasco, NYC’s two hip-hop radio stations, Power 105.1 and Hot 97, have engaged in a radio war of sorts, sending both direct and indirect jabs at each other. Earlier today on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, Funkmaster Flex’s domestic abuse of his wife was examined over the air with DJ Envy claiming to have heard 911 tapes of Flex’s wife reporting the abuse to authorities. This comes just two days after Flex took to the airwaves to bash members of The Breakfast Club. With this latest jab from Power 105, things are definitely heating up in this war of words. How far will each camp go? Only time will tell.
