Chamillionaire dropped by a Houston Fox affiliate to give a few pointers on how to make it in the music industry.   The man best known for “Ridin Dirty” offered some words of wisdom for the Myspace rappers out there.   “You definitely have to go out into the real world and get real fans,” said the Texas native.  “You still need a physical presence; you need to make people want you.

Gina Miller of Sugar Hill studios, who also appeared in the segment, claimed that it’s easier to break into the industry nowadays due to social media’s prevalence on the Internet.  That’s kind of a double edge sword because it opens the door for so many artists that it makes the market over saturated with extremely talented and untalented individuals.
