jeez louise, kendrick doesn’t need drugs to be one of the strangest performers ever. he’s this tiny rap elf with a heart full of gold and lyrics.
just look at the way his head moves there. fittingly bizarre and haunting for the track. he pantomimes drug abuse so well because his childhood was filled with those performances. he hasn’t shied away from showing us what it must’ve been like to witness his family unravel while living right there in the same house. chilling.
I love it that they made the video that way, all focus on the words rather than having some really distracting elements in it. No oversized booties in any frames.
I think the whole video is sleek. REAL dope here.
